Presumed hybrid Western Reef x Little Egret Egretta gularis x garzetta (1,2,3)
(1) Sevilla. A bird was seen on 13.7 at Brazo del Este, Puebla del Río, Sevilla (Alfonso Barragán)

(2) Sevilla. There was a different bird, according to plumage, at Brazo del Este, La Puebla del Río, Sevilla on 14.7 (Paco Chiclana). See a photo below.This bird remained in the area on 21.7 (Paco Chiclana).

(3) Barcelona. A bird was seen on 15.7 flying over Besós river, Montcada i Reixac, Barcelona (Juli Mauri

Brown Booby Sula leucogaster (1)
(1) Cádiz. There was an immature on 5.7 off Off Cabo Roche, Cádiz (Chema Lubián, Rafael García Costales)

Ruppell's Vulture Gyps rueppellii (1,2)
(1) Badajoz. On 13.7 an immature was seen at Puerto de los Conejeros, San Pedro Sierra, Alburquerque, Badajoz (Joaquín Mazón). On 26.7 it was seen again (Joaquín Mazón, Justo Tarriño, María Casas y Carlos Casas).

(2) Cáceres. On 24.7 an immature was seen at Torrejón el Rubio, Monfragüe, Cáceres (Martin Kelsey, Patrick Kelsey). See thumbnails here.

Lanner Falco biarmicus (1)
(1) Gibraltar. On 30.7 a juvenile was seen flygin South of Gibraltar (Keith Bensusan, Rhian Guillem, Charles Pérez/GONHS)

American Golden Plover Pluvialis dominica (1)
(1) Asturies. On 4.7 an adult was at Ría de Villaviciosa, Asturies (Xuan Cortés). See a photo below. On 8.7 it was still present (Clemente Álvarez Usategui).

Broad-billed Sandpiper Limicola falcinellus (1,2)
(1) Málaga. The was one on 21.7 at Laguna Grande, Parque Natural Desembocadura del Guadalhorce, Málaga (Armando Molina).

n(2) Tarragona. On 28.7 a bird was found at Les Olles, Delta de l'Ebre, Tarragona (Manolo Sánchez Blanch). Not relocated the day after.

nPectoral Sandpiper Calidris melanotos (1)
(1) Valencia. The first for the season was a bird on 30.7 at Tancat de Milia, Sollana, L'Albufera de València (Bosco Dies). Later photographed, see below (Pedro Marín)

Terek Sandpiper Xenus cinereus (1)
(1) Tarragona. On 23.7 an adult was seen from Aufacada tower at 970m distance at 'Els cavalls', Illa de Buda, Delta de l'Ebre, Tarragona (Ricard Gutiérrez). Taking photos was difficult due to the wind and distance but three testimonial images were obtained. See below and two thumbnails here. Seen again on 27.7 (Roser Solé, Josep Tantull; Ricard Gutiérrez).
nThe bird was not relocated.

Red-necked Phalarope Phalaropus lobatus (1)
(1) Tarragona . On 22.7 there was one adult at Punta de la Banya, Delta de l'Ebre, Tarragona (Jordi Martí-Aledo). See three thumbnails here.

Lesser-crested Tern Sterna bengalensis (1-2)
(1-2) Huelva . On 9.7 two birds were seen from Juan Carlos I pier, Huelva (Rafa Romero, José Antonio Sencianes, José Manuel Méndez). These birds were seen again the following day 10.7 (Begoña Sainz). On 18.7 there was one bird, either one of the previous or another at Juan Carlos I pier, Huelva (Paco Chiclana)

Orange-billed presumably Elegant Tern Sterna cf elegans (1-4)
(1) Valencia. The birds seen from 2.4 remained at Racó de l'Olla Nature Reserve, L'Albufera de València early this month.On 13.7 one adult and a flying juvenile were seen away from the colony but still within Racó de l'Olla, Albufera de València (J.I. Dies, M. Chardí, I. Ruiz, G. García @ and juvenile last seen on 17.7 (J.Ignacio Dies, M. Chardí @

Roseate Tern Sterna dougallii (1-4,5-6)
(1-4) Huelva . On 9.7 four birds were seen from Juan Carlos I pier, Huelva (Rafa Romero, José Antonio Sencianes, José Manuel Méndez). Two remained the following day 10.7 (Begoña Sainz).

(5-6) Huelva . On 16.7 two individuals were seen at Odiel river mouth, Huelva (Paco Chiclana, Fernando del Valle). See two photos below and thumbnail here)

Garden Bulbul Pycnonotus barbatus (1-4)
(1) Cádiz . The breeding population at Tarifa, Cádiz that have bred this year too presumably remain in the Tarifa outskirts but were not seen on the week of 12.7 (Alex Colorado)
