Red-footed Booby Sula sula (1) 7TH FOR SPAIN
Málaga. The subadult found at Caleta de Vélez harbour, Málaga on 16.6 was still present there on 2.7 (Blas López, Armando Molina @eBird; Hugues Dufourny; Mick Richardson -photo below-) and 4.7 (Alberto Savijn Still there on 6.7 (Klaus Drissner to 9.7 (Rubén López @eBird, Carmen Álvarez @eBird; Manolo Salas), see photos below and a thumbnail here (Manolo Salas)and also another photo below (Ricardo Rodríguez) and more in his blog here. On 14.7 it was still there (Diego Peinazo there on 17.7 (Mariano Sevilla @eBird) and 21.7 (Fabián Casas @eBird).

Salamanca. On 1.7 a bird was reported at Finca Valeros, Gajates, Salamanca (Carlos Villaverde @eBird).

Broad-billed Sandpiper Calidris falcinellus (1)
(1) Valencia . A bird was seen at l'Alcatí ricefields, Albufera de València, València on 7.7 (Bosco Dies @birdingalbufera). Seen again on 8.7 (Yanina Maggiotto, Pablo Vera, M.Andújar, V.París @birdingalbufera).

Elegant Tern Thalasseus elegans (1,2)
(1) Pontevedra. A bird showing characters of Elegant Tern was seen at Bueu harbour, Pontevedra, on the evening of 3.7 (Manuel Agulla). See photos and thumbnails enclosed..

(2) Barcelona. On 12.7 and adult showing intermediate bill characters between Sandwich and Elegant terns was seen in company of a juvenile at ca l’Arana beach, El Prat de Llobregat, Delta del Llobregat, Barcelona (Ferran López). See a photo below.

On 3.7 two birds of the group of Sant Boi de Llobregat were seen at Can Dimoni, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Delta del Llobregat, Barcelona (Carlos

topo(3) Gran Canaria. The bird seen in previous months was still at Tailarte dock, Gran Canaria, Canary islands on 6.7 (Miguel Avelino Suarez (photo) and Francisco Guerra).
